At approximately 400 × 450 mm, it's considerably larger than a standard bread bag and can comfortably accommodate multiple sourdough loaves depending on their size.
Made from breathable cotton with a simple drawstring closure, it's a practical alternative to keeping your bread wrapped in paper or plastic - and looks pretty good sitting on the kitchen bench too.
Why we made an XL bag
Sometimes one loaf simply isn't enough.
If you bake multiple loaves at once, make larger loaves, or want one bag that can hold the family's bread together, a standard bread bag can quickly become too small.

Cotton vs airtight storage
A cotton bread bag is breathable rather than airtight. That makes it particularly useful when you want to avoid trapping excess moisture around your bread. It won't completely prevent bread from drying over time, so it's best suited to bread you expect to eat within the following few days. For longer-term storage, we recommend freezing your bread.

Wash when required and allow the bag to dry completely before storing bread inside. As this is a cotton product, some natural shrinkage may occur with washing.
