For us, sourdough is more than just bread – it's the hobby that sparked a passion and eventually grew into The Sourdough Kitchen.
Our journey began on New Zealand's beautiful Hibiscus Coast during the COVID lockdowns over five years ago. Like many people, we were looking for something new to learn, and sourdough quickly became an obsession. Since then, we've nurtured and cared for the very same starter every step of the way, baking countless loaves and sharing our knowledge with fellow home bakers.
